How quick and easy is starting Stacks?
You can start in under 30 seconds. We timed it! It was a whole thing. Stacks asks you only two questions when you first log in:
1) What is your annual net income goal?
2) What is your average company split?
(Set hurdle and capped commission structures in Settings <> Company Split)
Then just click Sync Contacts!
(Choose all or specify individual contacts. A default input will pre-populate.)
That's it, you're done!
How do I upload contacts?
3 options starting with the fastest:
1) Select 'Sync Contacts’ during on-boarding. You can upload your entire iPhone address book with 1-Click or specify individual contacts. Find this anytime in Settings <> Sync Contacts. A default buyer will pre-populate for each contact in the Clients screen to get you started.
2) Upload an Excel or CSV file on our website: https://stacksrealestate.com/. Click “Log In” where you will download our Excel template. It's just like uploading to MailChimp or Constant Contact.
3) In Client tab, click + to add a single client. On the right side of the “Name” field, click the blue address icon to sync directly from your address book.
Does Stacks offer custom white label versions of Stacks?

Does Stacks monitor, share, sell, or otherwise monetize user data?
No. As agents ourselves, we understand the only resources agents have is time and client relationships. We believe agents should own their data with 100% privacy, security, and portability so moving between agencies never causes a hiccup. The small subscription fee is good enough for us.
If I am an Executive or Manager that also sells real estate, can the Team Leaders and Agents below me view my performance and clients?
Nope. Ownership and leadership has its privileges.
How do I enable and disable the Leaderboard for teams?
On your team screen, click the three dots on the top right. The highest ranking member sets this rule for their team members/office/brokerage.
Can I refer clients to non-Stacks users?
Absolutely. When you text/email a referral, a non-Stacks user receives all of the contact info & terms you'll need and you’re free to execute the referral outside of Stacks. That said, you miss out on the real-time tracking benefits and updates Stacks provides throughout the entire process, which enhance your client relationships and give you full transparency along the way.
Is Stacks a traditional CRM?
No, Stacks believes in a "CRM lite” approach. As agents ourselves, we were frustrated with clunky, bloated tools with high price tags so we surveyed hundreds of agents nation-wide and distilled their most frequently used features into Stacks. It's an ever-changing tool based on ongoing research.
Why the strong focus on mobile?

Does Stacks accommodate all company commission split structures ie "hurdles" and capped commission splits as seen at Keller Williams and eXp Realty?
Yes. At sign in, you’re asked for your average split for simplicity's sake; however, navigate to Settings <> Company Split to customize literally any commission structure by adding hurdle commissions, a capped structure, or a fixed percentage. For example, if you own your own firm, you will enter a fixed split of 100%.
What happens to my data if I leave Stacks?
You can export your data any time at https://stacksrealestate.com and it's deleted on our end.
What happens if I leave my current brokerage?
Nothing, Stacks goes wherever you go ensuring 100% portability, control, and ownership of your data.
How do Anniversary reminders work?
Thought you’d never ask! For sales deals, you will receive a reminder every year one week prior to the closing date and again on the actual date. This gives you time to purchase a thoughtful gift or plan a get-together or both! For rental deals, you will receive reminders three months prior to lease expiration and again on the actual day. This way, you can proactively re-sign the lease, or find the existing tenant a new home and re-rent the apartment for the landlord. Win, win, win!
How can I share Calculator results?
Click the blue "SHARE" button at the bottom of each screen. You can text, email, WhatsApp, etc. However your client likes to communicate, we've got you covered! The Closing Cost calculator is particularly handy in listing presentations and the ROI calculators make you look like a rockstar mathematician in the field with investors. Time kills deals, our calculators save them!
How does Open House sign-in sync with the CRM?
Each time an open house visitor signs in, a buyer client is created. If it's a buyer you want to focus on, simply find the visitor, scroll down, and click on ‘Move to Clients’ and voila! You will retain a copy in the open house roster and find it in your Client tab.
What does "co-broke" mean?
When two agents are splitting the commission. The opposite would be a 'direct' or 'double-ended' deal depending on your market's lingo.
Does Stacks work for rentals?
Yes, simply select Landlord or Tenant under Client Type in Client screen and Stacks will take it from there.
